Indiana Summer!

 After Ava's dance intensive in Orlando we were off to Indiana for 2 weeks!  We stayed at Rylee's for a few nights on the way and were so happy to finally get to enjoy their amazing pool!  While in IN we had a lake day, lots of pool days, went to IN beach for a day and went to a waterpark in Northern IN! So much fun!!

Go Cubs Go!

 Matt and I went to a Cubs game with my dad and his friend while we were home in Indiana this summer.  It was so much fun - I hadn't been since college and the stadium looked the same but the outside had changed so much!

Orlando: Power Pak & Hollywood Studios

 Ava was invited to a dance intensive called PowerPak in Orlando, FL!  We stayed for the week and had so much fun!  She leaped out of her comfort zone, met new friends, got closer with her team and danced SO MUCH!  We spent our free day at Hollywood Studios where her and Matt got to see all things Star Wars. While she was dancing Matt and I had some good pool time and ate delicious dinners each night.  We had a great week and she is already talking about next year!

School's Out For Summer!

I am finishing my 13th year of teaching this week and Ava wrapped up 4th grade last week!  It's so bananas to know my first year of teaching kindergarten class is now graduating from high school!  We are thankful for Ava's teachers and fun classmates for a great year :). We finished strong with a choir concert, water day, some ice skating, family pool and boat days, delicious dinners and a sleepover!
